Joseph Stein

Rooted in natural light, open spaces, and real connection

My story follows the path of many photographers growing up with a camera in their hands before ever knowing a lifelong career would ensue. Since my youth, creating portraits has been my passion and along the way, I have also produced images for products, real estate properties and landscape photography.

In 1998, I began specializing in wedding photography and completed 700 before now concentrating on families, children and portraits of all types. Having been tutored by some of the best photojournalists and celebrity portrait photographers in the country, I have learned to produce magazine quality images to be appreciated both now and by future generations.

By blending candid "in the moment" photographs along with traditional, elegant portraiture, every session is complete with a variety of images from which to choose.

Having raised three children whose early days are memorialized by many photographic paper prints, permanent reproductions still tug on the heartstrings in a way that screen displays never will. This is especially true of our younger generation who often are not having the tactile experience of seeing and touching prints available always displayed. Passing down these wall and album portraits to the next generation never goes out of style.
